Innisfree Farm and Botanic Garden

Set on seven acres just on the edge of Royston, Innisfree Farm & Botanic Garden is both a working farm and an educational centre, offering internships, apprenticeships and workshops covering a wide variety of plant-related interests.

Using permaculture farming methods, Innisfree specializes in growing healthy, organic food and medicine plants. A visit to the on-site Farm stand is a must where you can find fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, pantry products made with ingredients from the farm, and in season, flowers and herbs from the farm’s nursery for your own garden.

There are themed-gardens throughout the farm, but no visit to Innisfree Farm is complete without a visit to the Green Dream Cafe for a refreshing beverage and some home-baking. The farm is open to the public from mid-June to mid September. Guided group tours are welcome, but please phone ahead to make arrangements.
